Plaited from the finest ramie fiber.

Before braiding, the rovings are twisted to increase the strength and life of the packing.

The addition of PTFE suspensoid to this very durable fiber combines toughness with a high degree of lubricity.

An excellent packing for arduous marine service and often used in mine pumps.

Applications
Centrifugal and rotary pumps water, sea water, brines, sludges, slurries, waste. Cold water feed pumps, mine pumps, marine stern tubes, stabilizer and rudder posts.

Advantages
Excellent for arduous marine service. This fiber lasts longer and is less harsh than flax. PTFE acts as a friction inhibitor providing additional shaft protection.
